KORONADAL CITY- GINAWARAN ng 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) ang 13 mga local government units sa Soccsksargen region.
Sa inilabas na listahan ng Department of the Interior and Local Government o DILG, isa sa mga awardees ang Provincial Government ng Sultan Kudarat, na nag-iisang probinsya sa rehiyon na nakatanggap ng seal.
Kabilang naman sa mga munisipyo na binigyan ng naturang award ang Alabel, Malungon at Maasim sa Saranggani province; Magpet at Kidapawan City sa Cotabato province; Surallah at Tupi sa South Cotabato; Colombio, Bagumbayan, Lutayan at Tacurong City sa Sultan Kudarat; at General Santos City.
Upang maging SGLG awardee, kailangan ng LGU na maipasa ang 10 areas of governance: ang Financial Administration & Sustainability; Disaster Preparedness; Social Protection & Sensitivity; Safety, Peace and Order; Health Compliance and Responsiveness; Sustainable Education; Business Friendliness & Competitiveness; Environmental Management; Tourism, Heritage Development, Culture and the Arts; at Youth Development.
Ang SGLG ay ang highest recognition at isa sa prestihiyosong award na ibinibigay ng DILG sa mga excellent at performing LGU’s sa delivery ng public service .
Sa buong bansa, umabot sa 350 na mga LGU ang pasado sa SGLG ngayong taon na kinabibilangan ng 272 mga munisipyo, 60 mga lungsod, at 18 mga probinsya.
Ang mga passers ay entitled ng package of incentives upang itustos sa kanilang mga local development initiatives at access sa iba pang mga programa at capacity development assistance mula sa DILG.
