MOKABAT sa 378 kilo sa nagkadaiyang basura ang nakolekta sa nagkalain-laing ahensya sa gobyerno gikan sa kababayonan sa Island Garden City of Samal, Davao del Norte.
Kini atol sa gilusad nga “Scubasurero: Stand up, save our reefs, giorganisa sa Department of Tourism (DOT) Region XI kauban ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).
Sa pahayag sa PCG, tumong sa aktibidad nga mapreserba ang marine biodiversity ug ipromote anhg marine tourist destinations sa Davao del Norte. Gawas sa PCG, nisalmot usab ang Philippine Naval Forces, Philippine Naval Reserve Center, Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Office 11, PNP Regional Maritime Unit, Carabao Dive, Kostal Divers, Pro Dive, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) XI, Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) XI, Tourism Security Professionals Association of Davao, Inc., Hijo Resources Corporation, ug City Environment and Natural Resources Office – Tagum.
