Busa Key Biodiversity Reserve sa MAKIMA nga mao ang Maasim, Kiamba,ug Maitum area aron sa pag-commemorate sa 110th birthday sa founder sa kompanya ug sa pagsuporta sa “1-Million Trees Project” sa provincial local government unit sa Sarangani.
Kini ang nabutyag atol sa launching sa “MAKIMA 1-Million Trees Project” ug sa anunsyo sa Watershed Enhancement Project sa Maasim miaging semana dungan sa simultaneous tree planting activity sa Barangay Kablacan sa maong lungsod.
Gipasalamatan usab ni PENRO Officer Maria Elvira Lumayag ang PLGU ug stakeholders sa ilang suporta sa nagkadaiyang environmental conservation activities sa lugar.
Samtang gipasalig ni Ruben Tungpalan, vice president sa Alsons Group of Companies’ Corporate Affairs, nga padayun ang ilang pagsuporta sa environmental projects alang sa proteksyon, pagdumala ug kalambuan sa natural resources ug aron matabangan makunhuran ang epekto sa climate change.
