Ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang pagbibigay ng service incentive at rice allowance para sa mga empleyado ng gobyerno.
Ayon sa Malacañang, ang service recognition incentive (SRI) ay one-time grant sa pare-parehong halaga na hindi lalampas sa P20,000 bawat empleyado sa executive department.
Kabilang naman sa mga entitled na makatanggap ng incentive ay ang mga civilian personnel sa national government agencies (NGAs), saklaw ang mga nasa state universities and colleges (SUCs), government-owned or controlled corporations (GOCCs), regular, contractual o casual employees, mga miyembro ng militar at pulisya, maging ang mga fire at jail personnel sa ilalim ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Pasok din sa SRI grant ang mga personnel mula sa Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), at National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA), mga empleyado ng Kongreso, Hudikatura, Office of the Ombudsman at Constitutional offices.
Kaugnay nito, maari ding makatanggap ng SRI ang mga empleyado sa mga LGUs, kabilang na sa mga barangay, depende sa financial capability ng local government at subject sa limitasyon ng kanilang budget.
Samantala, ang one-time rice assistance naman ay para sa mga government personnel, kabilang na sa mga civilian personnel sa NGAs, mga nasa SUCs, GOCCs, government financial institutions (GFIs), government instrumentalities na may corporate powers, at government corporate entities na regular, contractual o casual positions, ganun din ang mga personnel ng military, police, fire at jail units at facilities, at BuCor, PCG, kasama ang NAMRIA employees.
