KORONADAL CITY- COVERED ng Employees Compensation (EC) benefits ang mga injuries o pagkamatay ng isang empleyado sa ilalim ng work-from-home arrangement. Ito ang inihayag ni Kaye Daga, Information Officer II ng Employees Compensation Commission o ECC Region 12.
Ngunit ayon kay Daga na covered lamang nito ang mga injuries at hindi kasama ang mga sakit tulad ng COVID 19.
Isa sa mga requirements sa pag-avail ng work-from-home EC benefits ang written directive o order mula sa employer na nag-uutos sa mga ito na magtrabaho sa work-from-home arrangement sa kanilang bahay.
Ang EC applications sa work-from-home injuries ay isasailalim sa evaluation ng mga personnel ng Social Security System o SSS at Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) kung ito ba ay work related.
