Nakumpiska ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang P316-million na halaga ng goods, kabilang na ang frozen meat at fake goods, na ilegal na pinadala sa Pilipinas.
Ayon sa BOC, ang apprehended shipments ay kinabibilangan ng P16 million na halaga ng frozen meat, Peking duck, at black duck mula sa storage facility sa Navotas City.
Maliban dito, may nakita ring P300-million na halaga ng items na lumabag sa intellectual property rights sa storage facilities sa Pasay City.
Ang shipments ay may mga brands na Nike, Lacoste, Jag, Louis Vuitton, Jordan, Crocs, Adidas, Havaianas, Disney, Frozen, Hello Kitty, Tribal, Dickies, Mossimo, Levi’s, Petrol, Gap, Fila, Uniqlo, Lee, Puma, DC, at Marvel.
Sa ngayon, nagpapatuloy ang inventory at imbestigasyon para sa posibleng paglabag sa Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA), at iba pang intellectual property laws ng bansa.
